Each Autumn, Kings hosts the Junior
Winter Series tournament. This is sanctioned by the LTA as a
grade 4 event.
In September
a Ladies Doubles Charity Tournament is held in support of St
Peter's Hospice. Entries are welcomed from players near
and far. Further details may be obtained from the club
secretary.
- About Kings:
- Kings is a small, friendly
tennis club in the heart of Bristol with loads of history. Tennis
has been played on the site since 1894 and the present club came
into being with the merging of 3 clubs -Beresford, Elm Grove
and Beaumont. We currently have around 250 members.
- The club has seven outdoor
courts (two acrylic and five macadam), four of which are floodlit.
The clubhouse was recently extended and includes a bar kitchen,
changing rooms as well as a lounge overlooking the courts and
equipped with snooker and table tennis. Courts are available
for members free of charge, subject to availability.

- Coaching is available for players at all levels
from junior to club league players, and there are a range of
squad coaching groups and holiday courses. More advanced players
may be interested in joining one of our club
teams competing in both local and national leagues.
