Welcome to King's Tennis Club
Kings is a small, friendly tennis club in the heart of Bristol with loads of history. Tennis has been played on the site since 1894 and the present club came into being with the merging of 3 clubs -Beresford, Elm Grove and Beaumont.
We currently have around 250 members. The club has seven outdoor courts (two acrylic and five macadam), five of which are floodlit. We have a fabulous clubhouse, recently completely renovated and offering ‘freeview ‘television, WI-FI, fully stocked Bar with catering facilities.
Courts are available for members free of charge, subject to availability. We have a court booking system available for very busy times of the week. We have social club tennis on a Tuesday evening from 8.00pm and a Thursday from 7.30pm. Match practice is on a Wednesday from 7.00pm for team players, and there is an extra ladies match practice on Saturdays from 5.00pm.
We have lots of 'on-court' and 'off-court' events and Kings. Please click on the 'What's-on' tab to see what is coming up next at the club.
Coaching is available for players at all levels from junior to club league players, and there are a range of squad coaching groups and holiday courses. More advanced players may be interested in joining one of our club teams competing in both local and national leagues.
Non-members are welcome to come and visit the club.
